Maria (Final Part) by Kristine Morgan

So after that Maria and Elizabeth met every Tuesday after story time. Maria was a quick learner, once she had a teacher.

Now Maria volunteers to read to the children at the local homeless shelter, bringing the magic of books to young children. She helps them learn the alphabet and how to write. At the end of the day, Maria curls up into her bed and reads stories about every subject under the sun. And she never again worries that she will buy cleanser instead of lemonade!
