Beyond the Borders Ambassador Program

Launch of the Beyond the Borders Ambassador Program

Monday July 9th, 2012

On behalf of the entire Voice4Society team, I am pleased to announce the launch of our Beyond the Borders Ambassador (BBA) Program. The purpose of the ambassadors for the BBA Program is to “raise awareness of the mission of Voice4Society and to be actively involved in Voice4Society and in their communities.”

The mission of Voice4Society is “to bridge the gap between the youth, their passion, and their Christ beyond our geographical locations”. I am excited to work directly with the ambassadors of the Program as the BBA Program Director.

To the readers of our blog, I want to say: You are the voice of this generation and you can make a difference. This is your time to shine!  It is up to you to help to create a world where injustice is not tolerated.

For all of us, it is important to remember that we can change the world by treating the people we meet in our everyday lives with dignity.

As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home – so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. Yet they are the world of the individual person; the neighborhood he lives in; the school or college he attends; the factory, farm or office where he works. Such are the places where every man, woman and child seeks equal justice, equal opportunity, equal dignity without discrimination. Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere…”
